Wu Hang Yee & Jane Huang’s #MeToo

#MeToo has rich men wary of extortion

#MeToo — while giving a voice to victims of sexual assault and harassment — has encouraged other women to falsely accuse well-appointed men for financial gain, fame or vengeance.

Private investigator Herman Weisberg agrees, saying he has seen an increase in extortion cases since #MeToo gained widespread attention last year.

“Since October, I’ve gotten about 25 cases of solid extortion threats,” said Weisberg, managing director of Sage Intelligence Group.

“I think in some cases, a few manipulative people are using the #MeToo movement as leverage . . . It gives their baseless, false claims more teeth.”

Weisberg says it has become a common tactic for extorters to e-mail a man with whom they have had relations and demand an apology in writing.

“They claim that their therapist says that’s the important first step,” Weisberg said.

“Let’s just say a high-powered person writes an e-mail back and says, ‘Wow, I’m really sorry you feel that way, and I’m sorry if I did anything,’ they are basically admitting wrongdoing, whether or not they even know what they are apologizing for.”

Weisberg said he considers it a red flag when an accuser seeks money directly from the accused or threatens to go public on social media.

“If you’re going to do it, do it — go on social media. But don’t threaten the person in advance . . . That’s what we call in the business a ‘cash grab.’ ”

Jane Huang (H) and Wu Hang Yee (Wu) chanted  with great fanfare and declared they were victims.

Jane Huang(H)

1. On May 6, 2018, H took the initiative to talk to Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche, accusing Rinpoche of "still pimping Karmapa?" She intercepted Rinpoche's reply of "Ho Ho.” She said Rinpoche admitted that he was a pimp.

2. On August 31, 2018, H claimed that she had a Skype conversation with the Karmapa and recorded it. There were 11 recordings in total: one was 1 minute and 50 seconds long, three were 1 minute and 15 seconds long, , and seven were about 30 seconds long.

3. On Dec 15, 2018, H arranged to meet with a Mirror Weekly reporter at the Mirror Weekly office. H provided the journalist with her text messages with Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche and audio recordings of the so-called phone conversation with the Karmapa.

4. On January 23, 2019, Mirror Weekly published H's accusation against Karmapa and attached H's recording.

5. Mirror Weekly reported that "Karmapa knocked on the door of H's room in the middle of the night on the 13th, and the two had sex for the first time. On the 14th, H went to see him as a believer, and the two were still in the Karmapa photo in our room."

6. On the cover photo of Mirror Weekly, H claimed that she and the Karmapa took a photograph together on the morning of September 14, 2013. But the fact is that H and five other Dharma friends went to see the Karmapa on the morning of September 13, 2013. Before leaving, each one took a photo with the Karmapa. So the cover photo of Mirror Weekly was taken on the morning of September 13th, not September 14th.

Wu Hang Yee (Wu)

1. January 2018, Wu Hang Yee set up a fake Karmapa Skype & Line account. Wu claimed that she and the Karmapa communicated via Line, but it was a conversation between Vikki Han and Wu. Han pretended to be the Karmapa. The two women faked this communication act from January 2018 to early 2019.

 2. On April 3, 2018, Wu claimed that she and the Karmapa had sex for the first time.

3. On November 11, 2018, The text message written by Wu on the fake Karmapa Line account threatened to intimidate Karmapa that she would write a book and publish it if Karmapa did not compensate her $9.99 million for mental trauma. In addition, Wu asked the Karmapa's office to issue a "public apology letter."

4. On November 19, 2018, Wu took the initiative to contact Lodro Rinchen, claiming she had sexual relations with the Karmapa several times in 2018. She wanted to discuss this matter with Lodro Rinchen.

 5. On January 27, 2019, Wu told Lodro Rinchen that her primary request was to compensate "US$10 million". Wu: "I just want money."

6. Wu said: "The other person and I each demand compensation of 10 million U.S. dollars."

 7. On Sep 15, 2019, Wu posted on her Facebook, asking the Karmapa to apologize to her and H.

Wu & H's method is the same as the "common tactic” of extorters mentioned by Weinberg.  Is it a coincidence?
