In recent years, due to the impact of the pandemic, these ceremonies have transitioned to online platforms. At the end of 2023, the winter debate was held in Bodhgaya, with an increased participation of Buddhist schools compared to pre-pandemic times. However, the 14th Shamar Rinpoche recognized Trinley Thaye Dorje as the 17th Karmapa. Shamar Rinpoche's followers consistently defamed and slandered Gyalwang Karmapa Ogyen Trinley Dorje, Tai Situ Rinpoche, and Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche. These accusations also falsely portrayed Tai Situ Rinpoche as a Chinese spy, restricting his freedom of movement in India and hindering his ability to travel abroad spreading the Dharma. Due to these disputes, the Indian government barred Rinpoche from e

Returning to Tibet In 2015, The  Chinese Communist Party (CCP)  took the initiative to show goodwill to the Karmapa, and they allowed the Karmapa's teachings to spread in China and Tibet. The communication between them went smoothly.   On June 26, 2017, on his birthday in the United States, Karmapa expressed his wish to visit Tibet.「I hope, therefore, that within the next two or three years, I can go to the Land of Snows and meet my parents in our homeland. I will try my best for this to happen.」  CCP proactively expressed goodwill towards the Karmapa, using the pretext of a beautiful vision of welcoming him back to his homeland, attempting to lure him back to China. They employed deceitful tactics, hiding their true intentions. However, contrary to their wishes, they resorted to extremely lowly and despicable means to destroy the Karmapa. In 2020, His Holiness Dalai Lama repeatedly stated during his teachings that within three to five years, he would return to Tibet and visit Wuta
