Wu Hang-Yee falsely accused the 17th Karmapa – 【Dinner at Niu Hotpot】

 Allegation 1.

 

Wu Hang-Yee claimed that in June 2018, she had eaten at the Flushing Niu Hotpot in New York, USA, and during dinner: 「just like an erotic feast in the Emperor's Harem.」

 

Wu Hang-Yee claimed that in June 2018, she ate at the Flushing Beef Hot Pot Restaurant in New York, USA, and during dinner:「………The participating girls were called one by one by Karmapa to sit next to him, to whisper, to laugh loudly, and constantly joke, just like an erotic feast in the Emperor's Harem.  That night, Karmapa was in high spirits full of zest.  In addition to the Wu, other girls were asked not to leave the United States and stay.  Karmapa tricked them into arranging them to work, but in fact, he then put a hotel reservation to satisfy his selfish desires, leaving the girls to look forward to the rest of the time ...」

「Hello, I want to clarify one thing for Karmapa:

 

My girlfriend attended a dinner at Flushing Hot Pot Restaurant in June. She told me that other staff and Tibetans were eating together. The whole situation is entirely different from what Miss Wu said.  My girlfriend is sitting at the same table as Karmapa. She said that there were five girls at the same table. Everyone respects Karmapa and has no wrongdoing.  At the following table, Miss Wu and her Dharma friend, a nun, seemed to be Taiwanese, and the other table was a table for Tibetans, during which Karmapa went to sit and chat with Tibetan friends. During the meal, Karmapa cares for the girls at the same table and wants them to eat more, significantly thinner; Karmapa is particularly concerned.  The owner of the hot pot restaurant also personally served the Karmapa table. The girls all ate their meals quietly. There was no scene like the one described in the article, which slandered Karmapa.  My girlfriend said they were simply having dinner together, and the boss was serving at the table. There was no intimacy at all. My girlfriend also swears to me that what she said is true.  She wanted me to help her tell her what the dinner was like that day.  Karmapa later went to chat with Miss Wu, and another nun could also be a witness.  She completely fabricated the content of this article, and the imagination is too rich.

 

My girlfriend said that the girl who had dinner at the table asked Karmapa about some personal matters, and Karmapa answered, it was easy to talk. Is there anything wrong with that?  Everyone present was busy eating; where did the intimacy?  How can ordinary conversations be written like that?  The five Dharma girlfriends present were all normal. How could it be possible to flirt in front of so many people?  If those plots are really as Ms. Wu said, my girlfriends or other Dharma girlfriends at the table should be the first to accuse Karmapa of misconduct!  Why was Miss Wu sitting at the following table accusing Karmapa?  (I guess it's an illusion caused by jealousy.)

 

My girlfriend is inconvenient to say that she wants me to convey this message on her behalf.

 

Karmapa has the freedom to make friends. My girlfriend is just related to Karmapa; doing something for Karmapa and being invited to dinner is simple.  

 

There was also a young Drupon Rinpoche and the lama who escaped with the Karmapa, now Rinpoche in Flushing Centre.  About 20 people attended the dinner.

1.    Ms. Yang:「Last year, many Dharma friends, including me, flew to the United States to participate in the North American Kagyu Monlam.  We all live in Flushing because it is Chinatown, the rent is cheap, and the language communication is no problem.  We pass by this Niu hotpot restaurant almost every day and once go in for a big meal.  It's small, there are no private rooms, and anyone passing by can look in.  Who would choose such a place to put on a "sensual banquet."

 

2.    Ms. Drolma:「There are always piles of security guards, servants, staff, and disciples to follow, even when eating.  This Hot Pot Restaurant opened on the main street where people come and go. The vegetarian food is delicious, the pure natural soup, the owner is kind and courteous.  This restaurant has floor-to-ceiling windows, is open and transparent, and there is no private room in the restaurant.  How to host a “sensual banquet”.」

 

Allegation 2: Line and Skype accounts 

 

We have confirmed that Wu Hang Yee set up so-called Karmapa's Line and Skype accounts with the Thai and Bengali name "Scum." She said: 「the Karmapa texted Wu with a voice message to ask her to have dinner at Niu Pot」「the Karmapa also called many young girl disciples, many of whom were also on his Skype friend list.」

 

She used these fake accounts to write untrue plots to slander Karmapa.
